Section 2 is complete, and just in the nick of time! I have mentioned it to so many people that I will reach Bismarck by the end of the month, so I’m rather pleased to actually achieve it – it’s a bit like handing in a piece of work before a deadline!
Water was my main concern today. There simply wasn’t any of it to be found until just outside Bismarck where I sneaked into a college campus library and filled up the water bottles, with some extra cool aqua. No one minded, or even noticed, so I may use that sly trick again!
Bismarck was a bit of a nightmare to negotiate, but I managed to find some good cycle trails/routes that took me through town in relative safety.
