Having four rest days really helped with todays ride. I left the motel at Kalispell really late (I find it really difficult to leave motels early!) and rode north on the main highway out of town, but soon found that mind numbing, so hit the quieter scenic roads and bumped into Cliff, a semi retired IBM employee who was on his bike collecting the post. Stopped and had a chat, it was good to hear about what it’s like in this part of the world – I’m jealous, especially as the Glacier NP is on the door step!
